Local Man Indicted for Methamphetamine Conspiracy
A 41-year-old man from Carbondale, Illinois, has been charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine.
Charles W. Scallion, of Carbondale, was arraigned in United States District Court in Benton on May 24, 2013, on an indictment charging conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine.
The indictment alleges that the offense occurred between May 2012, and March 28, 2013, in Jackson County.
If convicted, Scallion faces up to 20 years’ imprisonment, 3 years’ supervised release, and a $1,000,000 fine.
