Devin Juneau, a 40-year-old man from St. Tammany Parish, has been charged with the sexual exploitation of a child and coercion and enticement of a minor. The alleged crimes took place in Slidell, Louisiana, and Juneau was indicted by a federal grand jury on April 24, 2026. If convicted, Juneau faces a mandatory minimum term of 15 years up to 30 years imprisonment for the first count, and a mandatory minimum term of 10 years up to life imprisonment for the second count.
The indictment alleges that Juneau committed these crimes in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Sections 2251(a) and (e), and Section 2422(b). The case is part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative to combat child sexual exploitation and abuse launched by the Department of Justice in 2006.
The investigation was led by the United States Department of Homeland Security – Homeland Security Investigations, the United States Customs and Border Protection, and the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office. The case is being prosecuted by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
Juneau will be required to participate in the Sex Offender Registry and Notification Act if convicted of either count. The United States Attorney’s Office reiterated that the indictment is merely a charge and that Juneau’s guilt must be proven beyond a reasonable doubt.
