In July 2025, the FBI received a tip that Hernandez had confessed to molesting a young girl and producing child pornography. An investigation was launched, and a search of his cell phone revealed disturbing images and videos, including child rape and bestiality.
The FBI’s probe led to Hernandez’s guilty plea for receipt of child pornography. On April 30, 2026, he was sentenced to 228 months in prison, followed by 25 years of supervised release. The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Danny Siefker, with assistance from Paralegal Specialist Denise Duhon.
The sentence reflects the severity of Hernandez’s crimes and the commitment of law enforcement to protecting children from predators. The FBI’s investigation and the prosecution’s efforts ensured that Hernandez will face justice for his horrific actions.
The case is a grim reminder of the dangers that lurk in communities and the importance of reporting suspicious activity to authorities. The FBI and other law enforcement agencies rely on tips from the public to investigate and prosecute crimes like these.
