A ruthless meth kingpin in Covington, Kentucky, is heading to federal prison for 12 years after a lengthy investigation by the ATF and Covington Police Department.
Trintin Peeno, 31, was sentenced to 150 months in prison for possessing with intent to distribute five grams or more of methamphetamine and possessing a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking.
According to the investigation, Peeno had 28.9 grams of methamphetamine, 1.373 grams of fentanyl, and 1.125 grams of cocaine in his residence, along with a loaded handgun, when authorities executed a search warrant on July 10, 2025.
Peeno claimed ownership of the gun and the drugs and admitted to distributing controlled substances.
But that’s not all – he also threatened to murder a neighbor who approached police about his illicit activities.
