Sarah Morris, Meth Trafficking, Kentucky 2025

⏱ 2 min read

A Louisville woman’s habit of delivering three-pound packages of methamphetamine to Eastern Kentucky’s streets has finally caught up with her. Sarah Morris, 33, just finished an 80-month sentence for her role in a major methamphetamine trafficking conspiracy.

Morris, who had a knack for cultivating relationships with suppliers, would regularly ship pound quantities of the deadly dope to customers in Eastern Kentucky. At times, she’d travel to the region herself to make deliveries, while other times, traffickers would fly in from Louisville to collect their score.

One infamous trip on January 22, 2025, ended in a blaze of destruction when Morris was about to offload three pounds of meth. As law enforcement closed in, an accomplice tossed the bulk of the stash into a fire, leaving Morris with the blame for only about a pound of the lost goods.

Under federal sentencing guidelines, Morris must serve 85% of her sentence. Upon release, she’ll be under the watchful eye of the U.S. Probation Office for five long years.
