An Ohio man is facing a decade to life behind bars after selling a massive haul of methamphetamine in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Enouch Jairus Kermue, 37, of Columbus, Ohio, was arrested on November 20, 2024, after he dumped 212 grams of the highly addictive substance to a confidential informant in a parked vehicle.
The bust was the result of a months-long investigation led by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the Parkersburg Violent Crimes and Narcotics Task Force, the Wood County Sheriff’s Office, and the Columbus, Ohio, Police Department.
Kermue’s plea deal is a stark reminder that the war on methamphetamine is far from over. The synthetic stimulant continues to wreak havoc on communities across the country, leaving a trail of devastation in its wake.
When Kermue is sentenced on August 20, 2026, he’ll be facing a mandatory minimum of 10 years and up to life in prison, at least five years of supervised release, and a fine of up to $10 million.
