Dallas Sherman Rhinehart, Methamphetamine Trafficking, Nebraska 2023

A Norfolk man has been sentenced to 130 months in prison for his involvement in a methamphetamine trafficking conspiracy.

Dallas Sherman Rhinehart, 53, of Norfolk, Nebraska, was sentenced on March 10, 2023, in federal court in Omaha, Nebraska.

Rhinehart was found guilty of participating in a methamphetamine drug conspiracy. He will serve 130 months in prison, with no parole available in the federal system.

Following his release from prison, Rhinehart will begin a five-year term of supervised release.

The investigation into Rhinehart’s activities began in May 2020, when he was identified as a distributor of methamphetamine in the Norfolk area.

On July 6, 2020, and July 22, 2020, law enforcement conducted controlled buys of methamphetamine from Rhinehart, resulting in the seizure of 52 grams of pure methamphetamine and 30 grams of a mixture of methamphetamine.

Rhinehart’s co-conspirators, Katherine Marie Tacheira and Lindsey Ann Rokahr, are also involved in the case. Tacheira has pleaded guilty and is pending sentencing, while Rokahr has pleaded not guilty and is awaiting trial.

The Nebraska State Patrol was responsible for investigating this case and bringing Rhinehart to justice.
