Dockery Indicted for Armed Robbery, Maryland, 2020
A federal grand jury has indicted Dockery on charges related to an armed robbery that took place in Maryland.
According to court documents, Dockery, 32, of Maryland, was charged with one count of armed robbery, a federal offense that carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.
The indictment alleges that on or about April 1, 2020, Dockery participated in the armed robbery of a convenience store in the state of Maryland. The robbery resulted in the taking of cash and merchandise from the store.
Dockery was arrested by federal agents on April 3, 2020, and subsequently charged in a federal indictment.
In a statement, the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland said, ‘The indictment alleges that Dockery and his co-conspirators used firearms to intimidate and threaten the store clerk during the robbery.’
The case is being prosecuted by the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland and is being investigated by the FBI.
A trial date has not yet been set for Dockery, who is currently being held without bail in a federal detention center.
The indictment marks the latest development in a case that has been ongoing since April 2020.
