Nebraska Man Sentenced for Methamphetamine Conspiracy

A 37-year-old Omaha man has been sentenced to 70 months in prison for his role in a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy.

Eric White, 37, was held responsible for 1.5 kilograms of methamphetamine, which is approximately 330 grams more than the minimum required for the conspiracy charge.

According to court documents, White was involved in a high-level distribution operation that brought methamphetamine from Colorado to the Omaha area. A cooperating witness told law enforcement that she received large quantities of methamphetamine from White and would then distribute it to other individuals.

The case began on August 25, 2019, when the North Platte Police Department attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a black motorcycle with no plates driven by White. White did not stop, and a pursuit ensued, resulting in a crash and his eventual arrest.

Upon his arrest, White was found to be in possession of approximately 10 grams of methamphetamine.

White’s sentence includes 70 months in prison, followed by a 5-year term of supervised release. There is no parole in the federal system.
