Lincoln Woman Sentenced for Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine

A Lincoln woman has been sentenced for her role in a methamphetamine trafficking ring. According to the United States Attorney’s Office, Kelly J. Jablonski, 42, was sentenced to eight years and one month in prison for conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine mixture.

Jablonski was arrested in February 2021 after a confidential informant purchased methamphetamine from her through a third party. Investigators followed her to a casino in Council Bluffs, where she was seen leaving with a duffel bag containing three pounds of methamphetamine.

When stopped by the Nebraska State Patrol, Jablonski admitted to having the methamphetamine in her Jeep, which was later searched and found to contain 1.3 kilograms of methamphetamine mixture. An additional 209 grams of methamphetamine was found in a van with Colorado plates that was also stopped during the traffic stop.

Jablonski estimated that she obtained up to two pounds of methamphetamine per week from a male in the van, and sold the drug to people in Lincoln, Omaha, and Council Bluffs. She also estimated that she obtained at least 25 pounds of methamphetamine from the male in the month prior to her arrest.

Jablonski’s sentencing is the result of an investigation by the Lincoln/Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force, with assistance from the Nebraska State Patrol and the Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office.
