Ethan Ashong, Methamphetamine Trafficking, Pennsylvania 2021

A 28-year-old man from Fishkill, New York, has been accused of methamphetamine trafficking in Pennsylvania.

According to the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, Ethan Ashong was indicted on July 20, 2021, by a federal grand jury on drug trafficking charges.

Acting United States Attorney Bruce D. Brandler stated that the indictment alleges that Ashong conspired to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute over 500 grams of methamphetamine between January 2021 and July 2021.

The indictment also alleges that Ashong distributed over 50 grams of methamphetamine on multiple occasions between March 8, 2021, and July 15, 2021.

The case was investigated by Homeland Security, the Pennsylvania State Police, and the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Jenny P. Roberts is prosecuting the case.

This case is being prosecuted as part of the joint federal, state, and local Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN) Program.

The maximum penalty under federal law for this offense is 40 years of imprisonment, a term of supervised release following imprisonment, and a fine.
