Rupert Man Sentenced For Selling Methamphetamine
Francisco A. Juarez, 27, of Rupert, Idaho, was sentenced to a lengthy prison term for his role in selling methamphetamine to an individual in Heyburn, Idaho. According to court documents, Juarez arranged to deliver the substance on April 23, 2011, and followed through on August 26, 2011, at a restaurant in Heyburn.
Chief U.S. District Judge B. Lynn Winmill handed down the sentence of 66 months in prison, followed by four years of supervised release. Juarez was indicted by a federal grand jury on April 24, 2012, and subsequently pleaded guilty to the charge on August 29, 2012.
