Bernard Johnson, Trafficking and Gun Possession, Pennsylvania 2023

⏱ 2 min read

A Harrisburg, PA man, Bernard Johnson, was just locked up for 15 years for peddling cocaine and crack, and waving a gun at people.

Johnson’s troubles started in 2017 when cops responded to a report of burglars at his apartment, only to find Johnson himself with a cache of cocaine and a firearm strewn about.

While out on bail, Johnson got into another scrape in 2018, pointing a gun at someone in Susquehanna Township, then leading police on a wild truck chase through Harrisburg.

As he fled, Johnson tossed a handgun with a silencer out the window, but cops still managed to catch up with him.

Johnson pleaded guilty to five charges, including three counts of drug trafficking and two counts of possessing firearms as a felon. Judge Jennifer Wilson handed down the 15-year sentence, citing Johnson’s long history of crime and the risk he posed to the public.
