A 20-year-old Honduran national is behind bars in Western Virginia, accused of trying to silence a witness in a high-profile sex trafficking case.
Dania Orellana-Gamez, the live-in girlfriend of Bryan Sixto Arias-Chicas, is charged with witness tampering after allegedly threatening the minor victim, known as Minor Victim 1, via Facebook Messenger in February 2026.
Orellana-Gamez, according to court documents, threatened to ‘upload all those videos and put your name on them’ – referring to graphic videos that Arias-Chicas is accused of recording during the May 2025 sex assault.
Arias-Chicas, 20, was initially charged with the May 2025 sexual exploitation of the 16-year-old girl, getting her so drunk she couldn’t walk and repeatedly having sex with her. Gustavo Quintero, a second suspect, was later charged with the repeated sexual exploitation of the victim in the months following the assault.
Orellana-Gamez’s arrest marks the latest twist in a disturbing case that has left a trail of trauma and destruction in its wake.
