BOSTON – Massachusetts man Trevor Jones, 47, of Everett, has been sentenced to a staggering 15 years in federal prison for sex trafficking four women.
Jones was also ordered by U.S. District Court Judge Allison D. Burroughs to pay $639,500 in restitution and face five years of supervised release post-prison. This sentence comes after Jones pleaded guilty to four counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion in May 2025.
His criminal activities began as early as 2016 when Jones targeted women with substance use disorder, providing them with drugs like heroin and fentanyl to intensify their dependence. He enforced his control through violence and threats, using weapons including belts, canes, metal rods, and firearms. One instance resulted in a broken nose and missing teeth for one of his victims.
United States Attorney Leah B. Foley emphasized the intersection between drug trafficking and human trafficking, noting that today’s sentence sends a clear message about the government’s commitment to dismantling such operations. FBI Special Agent in Charge Ted E. Docks described Jones as both a predator and a coward who preyed on vulnerable victims.
Colonel Geoffrey D. Noble of the Massachusetts State Police highlighted the state’s unwavering commitment to ending human trafficking, emphasizing education and reporting of exploitation. Essex County District Attorney Paul F. Tucker expressed hope that justice served would bring some measure of comfort to the survivors.
Jones previously served a two to five-year sentence for deriving support from prostitution in 2007 before resuming his sex trafficking operation.
