Jackie Duncan, Sex Trafficking of Children, Oklahoma 2024

Jackie Duncan, 35, and Nia Hall, 30, of Lawton, Oklahoma, have been sentenced to serve more than 45 years in federal prison for their roles in a child sex trafficking conspiracy. The couple was ordered to pay nearly $480,000 in restitution, according to U.S. Attorney Robert J. Troester.

In May 2024, two juveniles ran away from a juvenile group home and were later found to have been sex-trafficked by Duncan and Hall. The minors, aged 16 and 17 at the time of their escape, were driven across Texas cities by the couple, who kept the proceeds from their sexual exploitation.

Duncan pleaded guilty to sex trafficking of children, while Hall admitted to conspiring to commit the same offense. Both were sentenced this week: Duncan to 360 months in federal prison and Hall to 188 months. The court also ordered the payment of $479,832.97 in restitution.

U.S. District Judge Scott L. Palk noted the depraved nature of the crimes, stating that the sentences were intended to send a “shockwave” through the community. U.S. Attorney Troester emphasized the importance of protecting children from exploitation and holding traffickers accountable.

“The sexual exploitation and trafficking of children is among the most vile and heartbreaking crimes in our society,” said Troester. “These sentences stand as a powerful reminder that those who prey on children will be held fully accountable under the law.”
