Fort Pierre Woman Gets 26 Months for Meth Conspiracy

Lisa Herren, 43, of Fort Pierre, South Dakota, was sentenced to 26 months in federal prison for her role in a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy. The sentence was handed down by Chief Judge Roberto A. Lange on June 27, 2022.

Herren, also known as Lisa Miller, was convicted of Conspiracy to Distribute a Controlled Substance. The crime began in September 2018 and involved the distribution of methamphetamine in and around Stanley County, South Dakota. It was reasonably foreseeable that over 50 grams of methamphetamine was distributed during the course of the conspiracy.

According to court documents, Herren conspired with others to knowingly and intentionally distribute methamphetamine. She was indicted by a federal grand jury on June 8, 2021, and pled guilty on January 27, 2022.
