A deadly duo of Augusta dealers is facing federal heat after allegedly peddling 400 grams of pure fentanyl and other potent narcotics in the River City.
Tyriquez McFadden, 39, and Nichael Lessey, 44, both of Augusta, were slapped with a five-count indictment that carries life imprisonment and a hefty price tag.
The pair is accused of trafficking fentanyl, crack cocaine, cocaine, and methamphetamine, as well as brandishing a firearm in furtherance of their illicit enterprise.
Jacquez Sturgis, 36, and Roman Kelly, 51, also of Augusta, were indicted for their alleged roles in the massive narcotics operation.
The cases were cracked by the DEA and local law enforcement, with Assistant U.S. Attorneys Joshua Kyle Davis and Kelsey L. Scanlon leading the federal prosecution.
