A 24-year-old man from Martin, South Dakota has been convicted of conspiring to distribute methamphetamine in the state.
Arrow Lynn Curry was found guilty of Conspiracy to Distribute a Controlled Substance following a federal jury trial in Rapid City, South Dakota on April 20, 2017.
Curry was indicted by a federal grand jury on September 15, 2015, and was accused of conspiring with other individuals to intentionally distribute methamphetamine in South Dakota in December 2014.
The charge carries a maximum penalty of up to 20 years in custody and/or a $250,000 fine, 3 years of supervised release, and a $100 special assessment to the Federal Crime Victims Fund.
The case was investigated by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, Unified Narcotics Enforcement Team, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives, South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation, and Pennington County Sheriff’s Office.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Kathryn N. Rich prosecuted the case.
Curry was remanded to the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service, and a presentence investigation has been ordered with a sentencing date to be set.
