Julian Arcoren, Meth Distribution, South Dakota 2026

⏱ 3 min read

A St. Francis, South Dakota, man was locked up for 15 months for peddling meth to his community. Julian Arcoren, 37, was sentenced for distributing the deadly synthetic stimulant on January 3, 2024.

A grand jury handed down an indictment in June 2024, and Arcoren folded under the pressure, pleading guilty on March 4, 2026. He’s now paying the price for his crimes, and the feds are breathing a sigh of relief.

The case was investigated by the Rosebud Sioux Tribe Law Enforcement Services, who caught wind of Arcoren’s operation and brought him to justice. Supervisory Assistant U.S. Attorney Kirk Albertson led the charge in court, securing the conviction.

Judge Eric C. Schulte handed down the sentence on April 20, 2026, also slapping Arcoren with three years of supervised release and a $100 fine. Arcoren was immediately remanded to the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service.
