A 59-year-old Porcupine man has been convicted of five counts of Abusive Sexual Contact after a three-day trial in federal court in Rapid City, South Dakota.
Gary Pourier was accused of fondling a 10-year-old girl inside a convenience store near Porcupine in July 2024. The victim reported the incident to her guardian, who called law enforcement.
Investigations revealed Pourier had a history of similar abuse, including allegations from 2005 and 2023.
Pourier faces up to life in prison and a $250,000 fine.
A federal jury delivered the verdict on April 16, 2026.
