A Pittsfield pharmacist, Joshua Bradley, 30, has been charged with diverting Adderall and Dextroamp-amphetamin from a national pharmacy chain in Massachusetts. The alleged crime occurred on multiple occasions in August, September, and November 2024, while Bradley was working as a licensed pharmacist. The investigation was led by the DEA and Massachusetts State Police, with assistance from local police departments.
According to charging documents, Bradley allegedly diverted various quantities of the controlled substances for his own use, including Adderall on November 10, 2024. The charges against him include five counts of acquiring a controlled substance by fraud, deception, and subterfuge.
The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Meghan Cleary of the Health Care Fraud Unit. Bradley will make an initial appearance in federal court in Boston on September 9, 2026. If convicted, he faces up to four years in prison, one year of supervised release, and a fine of $250,000.
