Malik Hudson, Sex Trafficking, Pennsylvania 2018

⏱ 2 min read

A Philadelphia sex trafficker who failed to keep his registry up to date is going back to prison. Malik Hudson, 30, was sentenced to 19 months for violating his supervised release.

Hudson was convicted of sex trafficking a minor in 2018 and served 72 months in prison. He was released in September 2024, but quickly absconded, failing to report to his probation officer or update his sex offender registration.

The U.S. Marshals Service eventually caught up with Hudson in June 2025, after he was caught stealing from a Philadelphia store. He was arrested and charged with violating his supervised release.

Hudson was sentenced to an additional 4 months in prison and 10 years of supervised release, to run concurrently with his existing sentence. He’ll also have to pay a $100 special assessment.
