A San Ramon man, Ishaq Ikharo, 28, is charged with coercing and enticing 9 minors to engage in sexual activity online, according to a federal indictment.
Prosecutors say Ikharo used online chat and gaming platforms to communicate with the minor victims, who were all under 18, between April 2022 and September 2024.
Ikharo was already on federal supervised release for a 2023 conviction in the Western District of New York for possession of child pornography when he allegedly committed these crimes.
Ikharo has been in custody since June 30, 2025, and is scheduled to appear in court on July 30, 2026, for a status conference.
If convicted, he faces 10 years to life in prison and a $250,000 fine for each violation of 18 U.S.C. §2422(b).
