Michigan Man Sentenced for Methamphetamine Charge
A 120-month sentence has been handed down to Tyreese Marsh, a 29-year-old Detroit resident, for his involvement in a methamphetamine distribution operation in Marion County, West Virginia.
According to court records, Marsh pleaded guilty in June 2021 to one count of "Possession with the Intent to Distribute 50 Grams or More of Methamphetamine." In his guilty plea, Marsh admitted to working with others to distribute more than 50 grams of methamphetamine in October 2019 in Marion County.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Brandon S. Flower on behalf of the government. The Drug Enforcement Administration and the White Hall Police Department conducted the investigation.
U.S. District Judge Thomas S. Kleeh presided over the case.
