A lethal dose of fentanyl killed one of Bridgette Washington’s customers after she sold them ‘A1’ drugs on January 2, 2023, in Waterloo, Iowa.
Washington, 47, had already racked up 15 felony convictions before peddling the deadly mix of fentanyl, heroin, and xylazine to multiple buyers.
Four others suffered non-fatal overdoses in 2022, but the January 2023 sale proved fatal.
On April 6, 2026, U.S. District Court Chief Judge C.J. Williams sentenced Washington to 21 years in federal prison and six years of supervised release.
