In a shocking turn of events, two men from the Steel Ball company have been found guilty of obtaining money by means of fictitious notes from the Milwaukee Avenue State bank. The bank, which was also targeted by notorious bank wrecker Paul O. Stensland, was left reeling after the conviction of Chauncey L. Graham and William S. Tiley, two men who played a key role in the devastating heist. On January 10, 1908, the men were convicted in connection with Stensland’s operations, a move that is expected to bring some much-needed closure to the victims of the bank’s destruction.
