Hulbert Drug Kingpin Sentenced to Decade Behind Bars

MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – In a grim reminder of the war on drugs, Nathan Rowden Green, 29, of Hulbert, Oklahoma, was sentenced to 100 months imprisonment for drug conspiracy. The sentence, handed down by District Judge Ronald A. White in Muskogee, marks the culmination of a joint investigation code-named “Home of the Brave”.

Green was charged with conspiring to possess and distribute at least 50 grams of methamphetamine, a Schedule II controlled substance, in violation of federal law. According to court documents, the conspiracy occurred within the Eastern District of Oklahoma on December 14, 2015.

The investigation was a collaborative effort led by the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) of the Eastern District of Oklahoma, involving multiple local and federal agencies including the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, various police departments, and the Drug Enforcement Administration.

Assistant United States Attorney Shannon Henson prosecuted the case on behalf of the United States. The defendant will remain in custody until transported to a federal facility to serve his nonparoleable sentence.

Green’s conviction underscores the relentless pursuit of drug traffickers by law enforcement agencies across Oklahoma, a state grappling with the devastating effects of methamphetamine abuse.

This case serves as a stark warning to those who engage in drug trafficking: justice will be swift and severe.
