A Billings bail bondsman is going down for a sick sex-for-bail scam. Louis Christopher Ikeda, 46, pleaded guilty to using his bail bond business as a front to trade sex for cash.
According to court documents, Ikeda targeted a woman, Jane Doe, who was locked up at the Yellowstone County Detention Facility on $10,000 bail. He initiated a text conversation with her, which quickly turned explicit, and even discussed different amounts of cash he’d accept to post her bail.
On December 2, 2024, Ikeda posted Jane Doe’s bail, and the two had sex in a secluded area by the river in Billings. Doe later described feeling pressured into the encounter.
Ikeda faces up to 5 years in prison, a $250,000 fine, and 3 years of supervised release. U.S. District Judge Susan P. Watters will determine his sentence.
