Beatrice Irene Willis, a 52-year-old woman from Ethete, Wyoming, has been sentenced to 65 months in prison for her role in distributing methamphetamine in the area. The sentencing took place on December 19th, 2023, in Cheyenne.

On January 19th, agents conducted a controlled buy of two ounces of methamphetamine from Willis. Willis was indicted on May 16th and pleaded guilty on June 25th. Assistant U.S. Attorney Timothy W. Gist prosecuted the case. The case number is 24-CR-00077.

Willis’s sentence includes three years of supervised release after serving her 65-month prison term. The Wind River Indian Reservation has been a focal point for the Safe Trails Task Force, which aims to identify and stop the distribution of methamphetamine and fentanyl in the area.
