A 64-year-old man from Bourbon County, Kentucky, has been sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for producing child pornography. Timothy Ray Dale admitted to using two minor victims to create explicit images on his phone between September 30 and October 29, 2023.
A witness tipped off the police on October 30, 2023, and authorities found over 50 explicit images of minors on Dale’s phone during a search. The investigation was a joint effort by the FBI, Paris Police Department, and Kentucky State Police.
Dale’s prison sentence will be 85% of 30 years due to federal law. After his release, he’ll be under supervision for 15 years by the U.S. Probation Office.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office prosecuted this case as part of the nationwide Project Safe Childhood initiative to combat child sexual exploitation and abuse.
