A man sold counterfeit pills laced with fentanyl to a victim on the Las Vegas Strip, who died within hours.

The fatal overdose occurred on September 2, 2023, after the victim ingested one of the pills, which the seller claimed was ecstasy.

Izaiah Flood, 26, was sentenced to 13 years in prison and five years of supervised release for his role in the deadly deal.

His co-defendant, Davon Johnson, 27, received the same sentence, 13 years and five years of supervised release.

Flood pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance, while Johnson also pleaded guilty to the same charge.
