A notorious fentanyl kingpin peddled death in Washington D.C.’s streets, selling 80,000 potentially lethal doses to undercover officers. Pierre Black, 63, operated a storefront in the 700 block of H Street NE, where he kept a loaded gun and cooked up his deadly wares.
According to investigators, Black’s operation was a major contributor to the neighborhood’s overdose crisis. His customers paid top dollar – over $13,000 – for the poison.
On September 5, 2025, police raided Black’s pad, finding a loaded handgun, 69.57 grams of fentanyl-laced substances, and a sedative used to knock out animals. He copped to possessing the firearm in connection with his trafficking.
Black pleaded guilty on January 13, 2026, and was sentenced to 63 months in the slammer. He’ll also serve three years of supervised release and forfeit $13,310.
