Kenel Man Faces Life for Heinous Crimes

A Kenel, South Dakota, man has been charged with a string of violent crimes, including aggravated sexual abuse, kidnapping, and assault. Denny Johnson, Sr., age 29, was indicted on June 17, 2014, by a federal grand jury.

The indictment alleges that between December 1, 2013, and January 10, 2014, Johnson caused an adult female to engage in sexual acts and placed her in fear that she would be subjected to death, serious bodily injury, and kidnapping.
