Louise Gina Polyansky Sentenced for Methamphetamine Conspiracy
Lincoln, Nebraska – In a significant blow to the city’s fight against narcotics, Louise Gina Polyansky, 33, of Lincoln, Nebraska, was sentenced to 87 months in prison for her involvement in a methamphetamine conspiracy.
A federal court in Lincoln handed down the sentence, which also includes a 4-year term of supervised release. The harsh punishment comes after Polyansky’s involvement in a methamphetamine conspiracy that spanned from November 2020 to September 2021.
According to the investigation, Polyansky worked with several co-conspirators to obtain and distribute methamphetamine in the Lincoln area. The conspiracy involved receiving packages by mail containing pound to multi-pound quantities of meth to addresses located in Lincoln. Polyansky was identified as someone who distributed ¼ pound to ½ pound quantities of meth from August 2021 to September 2021.
The investigation also revealed that Polyansky would wire drug proceeds to individuals in Arizona. The case was investigated by the Lincoln Police Department.
Polyansky’s sentence is just the latest in a string of harsh punishments handed down to those involved in the conspiracy. Other conspirators, including Scott Berndt, Rebecca Frankenstein, and Tommy Meyer, have already received their sentences. Berndt was sentenced to 168 months, Frankenstein to 90 months, and Meyer to 244 months.
