A 46-year-old Jacksonville woman with a history of run-ins with the law is headed to federal prison for her latest crime: trafficking over two pounds of methamphetamine. Jena Marie Osborn agreed to sell large quantities of the deadly drug to a confidential source, and on two separate occasions, she delivered over a pound of meth each time.
According to the DEA, Osborn was using a stash house to store the meth, and on June 5, 2025, agents planned a controlled buy. But before they could make the purchase, Pulaski County deputies pulled over Osborn’s vehicle and found several bags of suspected narcotics during a search.
Osborn, who is currently serving a state prison sentence for possession of drug paraphernalia, pleaded guilty to the federal charge in November 2025. On April 1, 2026, Judge James M. Moody Jr. sentenced her to 20 years in federal prison, which she’ll begin serving after completing her state sentence.
The 20-year sentence is a stiff one, but it’s not unexpected given the severity of the crime. Methamphetamine is a highly addictive and destructive drug that’s tearing communities apart. Osborn’s actions put countless lives at risk, and it’s a small consolation that she’ll be locked up for two decades.
