Omaha Woman Sentenced for Armed Robbery Spree

Adrionna Leeper, a 25-year-old Omaha woman, has been sentenced to 75 months in prison for her role in a string of armed robberies that terrorized Omaha residents in February 2022.

According to court documents, Leeper was part of a conspiracy to interfere with commerce by robbery, which led to the commission of multiple armed robberies across the city. On February 24, 2022, Leeper and her accomplices robbed the Midwest Smoke Shop at 7010 Dodge Street #105, where a store employee was assaulted.

The next day, February 25, 2022, Leeper and her crew carried out a series of brazen robberies, hitting the Family Dollar at 6618 North 30th Street, where a store manager was threatened with a handgun, and the Family Dollar at 2601 North 16th Street, where a clerk was also threatened.

Additionally, the group robbed the Bucky’s/ Casey’s Gas Station at 2223 South 24th Street, where a clerk was demanded cash, and the MegaSaver Gas Station at 10707 Blondo Street, where a suspect racked a gun and told a victim ‘I’m not joking!’

Lastly, the group targeted the Casey’s/ Bucky’s Gas Station at 107 South 40th Street, where a clerk was struck in the head with the base plate of a firearm and left disoriented.

U.S. District Judge Robert F. Rossiter, Jr. handed down the sentence, which also includes a 3-year term of supervised release and restitution of $8,463.67. Leeper’s accomplices, including Quincy Louis, face separate charges and sentences.

The Omaha Police Department (OPD) responded to each of the robberies, and investigators pieced together the evidence to bring Leeper and her crew to justice.

As the city breathes a sigh of relief, the Grimy Times reminds residents that the justice system is working to keep our communities safe from violent crime.
