Reginald Brown, Cocaine Trafficking, Kentucky 2024

A Louisville man, Reginald Brown, was sentenced to 16 years and 6 months in federal prison for conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute cocaine and possession with the intent to distribute cocaine in Louisville, Kentucky.

According to court documents, on November 18, 2024, Brown, 38, was sentenced to 16 years and 6 months in prison, followed by 6 years supervised release, for conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute cocaine and possession with the intent to distribute cocaine.

Brown was convicted following a five-day jury trial in August of this year. His codefendants, Clarence Stott and Axel Diaz Hernandez, plead guilty and were previously sentenced.

On January 11, 2024, Clarence Stott, 43, of Louisville, was sentenced to 12 years and 7 months in prison, followed by 6 years supervised release, for conspiracy to distribute cocaine.

On December 18, 2023, Axel Diaz Hernandez, 24, of Virginia, was sentenced to 2 years and 6 months in prison, followed by 4 years supervised release, for conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute cocaine and possession with the intent to distribute cocaine.

Brown’s sentence is a result of an investigation by the DEA and the Louisville Metro Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Alicia P. Gomez and Marisa J. Ford prosecuted the case with assistance from paralegal Adela Alic.

This case is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), a program designed to reduce violent crime and gun violence in neighborhoods across the country.
