Three men, Darrell Glen Harris, Joey Lamar McRoyal, and Lamar Deshawn Rosser, were involved in a large-scale methamphetamine and fentanyl trafficking conspiracy in Las Vegas, Nevada, from August 2022 to June 20, 2023. The trio conspired to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine and 40 grams or more of fentanyl, both Schedule II controlled substances. Harris supplied McRoyal and Rosser with the illicit drugs, which were then distributed in Las Vegas.

The convictions are the result of a joint investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Nevada. The DEA’s Special Agent in Charge, Anthony Chrysanthis, stated that the convictions demonstrate the united effort of law enforcement partners to combat the drug crisis in Nevada.

Harris was found guilty of conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance and possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance. McRoyal and Rosser were found guilty of conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance, distribution of a controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute, and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.

The convictions mark a significant victory in the fight against drug trafficking in Nevada. The US Attorney’s Office and the DEA will continue to work together to disrupt and pursue drug traffickers who distribute illicit drugs in the state.
