A brutal attacker got 15 years in prison for preying on two victims in Browning, Montana. Kevin James Trombley, 28, was found guilty of sex abuse and violent assaults in two separate trials.
The abuse started in June 2022, when Trombley forced himself on a woman at a house party. She escaped and reported the attack, but he initially denied it. Later, he admitted to being in the bathroom with her, but claimed it was just for a moment.
But Trombley’s violence didn’t stop there. The next year, he assaulted the woman’s father at a rodeo, leaving him with a head injury and requiring medical treatment. He was drinking with friends and family at the time of the second assault.
Trombley’s crimes finally caught up with him in court, where he was found guilty of multiple counts of assault and sex abuse. He’s now facing 188 months in prison, followed by 10 years of supervised release.
