A 41-year-old Florence man is headed to prison for 30 years after producing and distributing vile child pornography. Matthew Tack pleaded guilty to multiple counts of creating, sharing, and receiving the disturbing content.
Law enforcement seized several phones and a laptop from Tack’s residence in May 2024 and found 23 images and videos of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. The files had creation dates ranging from December 2023 to May 2024.
The investigation revealed Tack had been chatting with minors online, urging them to send explicit images and videos. In one chat, he told a 10th-grade student he wanted ‘lewd pics’ and that her age was his ‘weakness.’
Tack engaged in similar chats with a 13-year-old girl from April 2021 to October 2021. He solicited explicit images and videos from her, claiming his fascination with her age.
