A six-time felon fired a gun eight times in a Cedar Rapids, Iowa neighborhood on November 15, 2023. Larnell Logan, 41, of Frankfort, Illinois, terrorized a home, demanding money and threatening to kill everyone before fleeing the scene.
Logan, who has five felony convictions, including domestic abuse assault by strangulation and drug conspiracy, was arrested after a high-speed chase through the neighborhood. He sped away from police in a residential area, reaching speeds of at least 50 mph, and even passed a school bus with children nearby.

On November 5, 2025, Logan pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a firearm by a felon. He was sentenced to over 11 years in federal prison.
