Jamarr A. Cunningham, a 31-year-old Buffalo man, was busted for possessing a cocktail of deadly narcotics, including 50 grams of methamphetamine, cocaine, and 40 grams of fentanyl, in Jamestown, NY. The Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force made the bust on November 13, 2025, after conducting multiple controlled purchases of fentanyl from a co-conspirator associated with Cunningham. Cunningham was taken into custody at a Palmer Street residence, where authorities seized suspected cocaine, methamphetamine, fentanyl, and a stash of cash.
The investigation, led by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Jamestown Police Department, culminated in a search warrant that uncovered the illicit substances. Cunningham, also known as ‘Grass’, now faces a mandatory minimum penalty of 10 years in prison and a maximum of life behind bars.
Cunningham made an initial appearance before U.S. Magistrate Judge Michael J. Roemer and was released on conditions following a detention hearing. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Joshua A. Violanti.
