A brutal string of Indiana traffickers has been handed decades in federal prison for their roles in the state’s lucrative methamphetamine, cocaine, and fentanyl trade. A federal investigation led to the convictions of six individuals, including an illegal alien, Antwan Lamont Shackelford, 46, of Indianapolis, who orchestrated a methamphetamine conspiracy from February 2023 through March 29, 2023.
Shackelford’s crew was just one of several busted in a series of raids that netted thousands of dollars in cash and pounds of illicit substances. Joshua Richey, 43, of Indianapolis, got 15 years for his part in the cocaine trade, while Carlos Bullock, 27, also of Indianapolis, was sentenced to 10 years for dealing in methamphetamine.
Aaron Burk, 50, of Brazil, Indiana, was nailed for 10 years on methamphetamine charges, while Derrick Anthony Griffin, 50, of Indianapolis, got 10 years and 10 months for his roles in the cocaine and fentanyl trade. Wilfredo Alexander Reyes-Dominguez, 26, of Hamilton County, was sentenced to 10 years for trafficking methamphetamine with a firearm.
The six defendants were sentenced in March and April of 2026, bringing a measure of justice to the countless victims of Indiana’s deadly opioid epidemic.
