A Lexington man used his position as a 4-H County Extension Agent to prey on a minor victim, producing and distributing child pornography via text messaging and social media platforms.
Clemons, 52, began a romantic relationship with the victim in April 2024, exploiting his position to gain access and manipulate the child.
The victim was coerced into engaging in sexually explicit conduct, with Clemons using livestreaming and video/photo sharing to facilitate the abuse.
Clemons’ betrayal of trust struck at the core of the community, where parents rely on leaders like him to mentor and guide young people.
U.S. District Judge Karen Caldwell handed down a 25-year sentence, with Clemons required to serve 85% of the term. He’ll be under probation supervision for 20 years upon release.
