A 34-year-old New Orleans man pleaded guilty in DC to coercing and enticing a minor, a heinous crime that could land him a life sentence. Joseph Gallina, 34, communicated with a minor child in July 2024 via text messages and mobile apps.
He instructed the child to produce explicit videos and photos, which she sent him. Gallina then posted a solicitation on a fetish website, featuring the child’s explicit images, and sought to arrange sex encounters between the child and adult men in the DC area.
One man responded, met the child in DC, and had sex with her. Gallina gave the child instructions on what to say and do during the encounter. The child was unable to record the video, but the damage was already done.
Gallina’s actions were calculated, predatory, and deeply damaging. He faces a mandatory minimum 10-year sentence and a maximum sentence of life in prison.
