Two Texas men, Carlton Pierre Mitchell, 30, and Aaron Thompson, 42, flew to Seattle with a deadly plan: rob a marijuana dealer who’d sold them weed before. It went horribly wrong.
Mitchell and Thompson teamed up with Samuel Solomon, who’d scored the pot from the dealer, in November 2022. They rented cars, drove to West Seattle, and set up an Airbnb rental. Mitchell had arranged the pad, where all three men armed themselves with handguns.
Thompson hid in a bedroom, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. During a deal with the victim, Thompson burst out, gun in hand, and told the dealer not to move. Shots rang out, and the dealer was left for dead. Solomon bailed, flying back to Texas.
The Seattle Police were called to the Airbnb after 911 calls flooded in about the gunshots. They found the victim, mortally wounded, and pronounced him dead at the scene. Mitchell and Thompson took off with the pot, fleeing the state.
