Christian Marviv Ble, Wire Fraud, Texas 2026

⏱ 2 min read

A $14 million email phishing scam targeting Tyler, Texas travel agencies has landed an Ivorian national in hot water. Christian Marviv Ble, 39, arrived in the US from France on April 21, 2026, and is now in the custody of the US Marshals Service.

The scheme allegedly used fake emails claiming to be from a reservation company, tricking employees into divulging login credentials. The scammers then booked airline tickets, racking up $14 million in losses to 430 agencies.

Ble faces three counts: conspiracy to commit wire fraud, wire fraud, and unauthorized use of an access device. The FBI investigated, with Assistant U.S. Attorney Alan Jackson prosecuting.

The US Department of Justice’s Office of International Affairs secured Ble’s arrest and extradition. The case is a major win for the National Fraud Enforcement Division, established to combat taxpayer-dollar theft.
