Moore Resident Pleads Guilty in Methamphetamine Distribution Plot

MOORE, OKLAHOMA – In a chilling turn of events, Michael Allen Cooper, aged 39 from Moore, Oklahoma, has entered a guilty plea in connection with a sinister methamphetamine distribution conspiracy. The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced today that Cooper faces life imprisonment and a staggering fine of up to $10 million.

The investigation into Cooper’s activities was a joint effort by the District 16 Drug Task Force, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, and the United States Postal Service. The probe led to an indictment in June 2014, detailing Cooper’s alleged role in a scheme that spanned from June 2013 until April 9, 2014.

According to the charges, Cooper conspired with others, both known and unknown, to possess with intent to distribute and distribute at least 500 grams of methamphetamine. The substance in question is classified as a Schedule II controlled substance, indicating its significant potential for abuse and dependency.

The plea was accepted by the Honorable Steven P. Shreder, Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, located in Muskogee. A presentence report has been ordered to guide the final determination of Cooper’s sentence.

Representing the United States was First Assistant United States Attorney Doug Horn, ensuring that justice was served with a severe penalty on the horizon for Cooper’s involvement in this drug conspiracy.
