Rochester resident Juan Sosa, 30, is going down for 193 grams of deadly fentanyl analogue, seized during a May 22, 2025 raid on his Northlane Drive pad. Sosa’s stash also included 142 grams of cocaine, 16 grams of dipentylone, and an arsenal of guns.
According to investigators, the warrant was part of a large-scale narcotics trafficking probe. Sosa’s three prior felony convictions made him a prohibited gun owner.
The investigation involved the DEA, Rochester PD, Greece PD, Webster PD, Brighton PD, New York State Police, and the ATF.
Sosa’s plea deal carries a mandatory minimum 10-year sentence for his crimes. He’s set to face Judge Elizabeth A. Wolford on August 21, 2026.
